What a terrible experience. Went there to have our first kid and was having a good experience till Friday June 30 when at 1015 pm the nurse who was assigned to us came into our room from watching her vitals for more than and hour came into our room turned lights off and TV off and forced her to go to bed while still connected to the monitor machine when she was told that she was gonna be off of it for the night so she could rest. Very disappointed and not very happy. It should be about the patients and her need"s and wants.
I will never recommend the pediatrics center to anyone! Due to the fact that my son has had a pooping problem since birth and every doctor I saw there said nothing was wrong with him, it is not "normal" for a baby to go 2 weeks without pooping! He's been admitted into the children's hospital in a different state(we moved out of Ny) and has to stay here till they can remove all the blockages that built up over the last 2 years so it doesn't damage his intestines and colon. Will never go back to Cooperstown for anything. This could have all been avoid if a doctor took a mothers concern seriously.
