My go to place.
Great day trip to enjoy water, beach, yard games and grilling. We used our new kayak on the calm lake. The life guard station had life vests to use for our little boy so he could come on the boat with us!
I love this park. A beautiful lake, sandy beach, hiking tails, history, picnic areas, it's all great! Easily worth spending a day outdoors, enjoying all the great amenities.
There is fishing, hiking trails and Geocaches to find plus a wide variety of wildlife to see as well as large Grass areas for games and a children's play area with swings, etc.
The park was amazing! They have plenty of great fishing spots, a beach area and outdoor activities for the entire family to enjoy. During our trip, the weather could of been nicer, but it has so many beautiful places to see!
There are camping sites for RV, campers tents and primitive sites.
