My friends and I drove from Montreal and did a road trip all the way to the Baseball Hall of Fame and what a wonderful time we had. Everything was well presented and excellently explained! A afternoon wasn't enough for us to indulge ourselves in all of the historical details of America's favorite pastime. I hope to return soon enough!
Great place for any baseball fan. The annual "World Series Gala" is a great evening of family fun. Watch a World Series game on a big screen. Ball park treats are included: hot dog, pop, Cracker Jacks etc. We had a great time. Lots of door prizes
We got there late and only had 1h45m inside. The tickets were good for the next day but we were passing through and weren't in town the next day. I would recommend a minimum of 3 hours for a casual fan or more for a serious fan. The history and the memorabilia was interesting. I would recommend a stop for even casual fans. Well worth the detour.
I have taken 2 summer trips to this area and the hall, with my son's Luke and Nicholas. The town is beautiful and quaint, very good restaurants and shops! The Baseball Hall of Fame was excellent, both of my boys played ball and the review says you spend about 3 hours, not with my guys, try more than 6 hours! I am divorced, so we didn't have a wife along and we did as we pleased on our trips. With all the shops, good restaurants, the lake and the Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, plus the little league park. This is at least 3 days of our 2 week driving trip. From Illinois, upstate New York is a beautiful trip, but many locals ask why we would pick that area, because my boys wanted to see the Hall of Fame for the sport they LOVE, BASEBALL! They loved so much, we went 2 years later because of the Ron Santo induction, we are Cubs fans, Go Cubs! But really we travel to see other games, not Cubs related, we just LOVE BASEBALL when it's played well, no matter the teams: Nationals, Brew Crew, ECT. We love baseball and it's RICH history and Cooperstown is where you go that! The boys are older now, in college, but I hope someday to return with them, bucket list maybe, but I know it would make me a very happy man, I love my memories of our trips to the Baseball Hall of Fame, it's beautiful and very well assembled!
Great time for all baseball fans. I spent most of an afternoon here. If you try to bring someone who is not a fan, please don't. I could have spent more time than I did, but enjoy your time
